I'm thinking of using it if i keep my actual lift, but i will most think of something like that:

The problem is they can't adapt on all shocks like the one you found on ebay, but i think it's stronger and safer.
The vitara mostly use that type of brackets

Customised winch bumper and roll cage
235/85R16 Maxxis Bighorns on 16" Rims, 4:1 Rocklobster, Rear ARB locker and on-board air
Corrected arms all-round, rear disks, Recaro seats and harnesses

what kind of process did you chose?
Will it only fit OEM ones or aftermarket ones too Martin?

Not sure what you mean by process, mine fit all types of shock.
