Steering dampers!

Steering dampers! was created by Toad
Hi all, has any one actually fitted one of these steering damper kits that are advertised and did it actually stop the death wobble from 40-45 mph?
Looking at the kits they appear to fit to various points of the chassis or axle casings. I thought that unless the end is mounted to a solid point ie chassis then of little use?
Cheers Toad

I have one.
It reduces the wobble but if u have worn items you will still have it but not as bad!

They will not stop death wobble. The frequency and strength of the Death Wobble is too much for them.
They stop the general looseness and wandering of the steering, I wouldn't be without mine. However the one in the picture above wouldn't last 5 minutes off-roading as it is too low.
Watch out on my website for a cheaper version which is just in production.

Mine fits like the one in the picture (not happy with it) but have been told to fit it to the rear of the axle and to the tie rod.
You'll not see it from the front (LoL!) but at least it'll be out of the way.
