TYRES - AGAIN

New to the site found it a great help...
I pick up my 52 reg Jimny this morning and need help on tyres I can get Insa Dakara tyre's local would they be o.k. for mixed on/off road use.

Dakars are quite aggressive and you may feel that they are a little vague on the road. also road noice will be noticeble.
as for offroad, yes, they will be fine.
You need to ask yoruself how much on road use you will be doing

Should be fine, Daihatsu usually have more offset i.e. stick out more and can usually be found in 7" width rather than the 5.5" of the std jimny rims. I know I'm miles away but your more than welcome to arrange a carrier to collect these wheels of mine, be better out of my way, they have some baldish tyres on them though.
best of all theyre free!
So, whats the crack with the offset rims then?? Can you fit a set to a standard truck? I've been thinking about a set but wondered if theres any problems with crushing the arches?

I like the standard rims but they would look so much better with just a slightly deeper dish.
