Our jimny has wheel spacers 31" special tracks and a 5" spring lift but no body lift
We never have any problems with rubbing on full lock.
Only on full flex off road do we get any contact and that is on the inside of the wheel arch extension not the standard jimny wheel arch
The spacers will give more stability offroad as you are widening the track and reducing the chances of tipping over especially if you have a 4.5" lift and 2" body lift

I think I would rather have them and change a wheel bearing more often :)

Id prefer personally to go with the lowest offset i could find, like some 8j et- rims.

spacers are an easier option though and the bolt-on type are about as safe as spacers can be really...

On a side note that is properly cool! I've tried looking at the pics on your site but they don't load.

Thanks, Yes the web-site threw a wobbly and only works in fire-fox now, I will get round to an update/rebuild soon.
