Jamie, fitted damper tonight, had to make own bracket as Llama were out of stock till next month. Used a bit of flat bar on other side( on outside of chassis leg).
Drove home from workshop, what a difference, going to take it out a run tonight for a propper test drive.
Thanks for your help.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThey are also on Ebay now aswell
But being tight I prefer to make one myself as I cannot weld very well I will take the bolt on option like the pro comp kit, Whats the little bracket called that you order from Lama 4x4.

Blimey - thats expensive! I have been looking into a "BigJimny" version and I can assure you IF I get one sorted it will be an awful lot cheaper than that.
The steering damper itself is listed for less that £20 on Ebay (Landrover Discovery 1 damper - ideal one to use as it is "disposable" in price) - I had a ProComp one fitted and trashed it against the scenary as anything low down and at the front is exposed so you wnat something that is easy to replace.

mines mounted the same as in the above picture, that ebay seller 'jimnybits' seems very cheap on other things like suspension kits but i agree that the steering damper price is horrific, i remember buying a procomp one from Explorer in the old days for about £40 for the full kit like that. I'm meeting the 'jimnybits' guy on Friday to collect a 3" kit from him so I'll have a quick chat, he does brake lines(cheaper at Llama 4x4 though) but his castor bushes seem to be a good price.
