i have a super winch x3, it will coil in but wont coil back out, when you eith do it with the cable control or the remote it just clicks, this is coming from one of the silver drums(solinoid?)

can anyone help? it was gettin skipped but saved it:)

Well you know the motor works and it seems the wonder lead works, so all that's left is the contactor - get a new one and it'll likely be fine.

Albright's are meant to be the best but they are also expensive.

X-Eng do a good one or have a browse on the interweb at sites like winch solutions, goodwinch etc.

Get a reasonable make, not cheap crap off ebay but don't spend a fortune just for occasional use.

ok ill have a look.

i was think, it wouldnt matter if it only pulled in, i dont need it really to real the cable off cause can pull it of by had, would that be alright ? or would it be best to get another one?

You could leave it like that of course, but if the contactor is in such bad condition inside that it won't pay out, how long before it stops paying in?

You can bet your bottom dollar it wil stop paying in when you're stuck and need it!

I would buy another and then you know it's all good and is not going to let you down.
