If you go for a straight out the back way, then look at renards "my jimny" thread as he has his that way, may give you some ideas but you will have to chop the centre section before it bends to the flange to meet the rear box i think.
Mines on its last legs now, i bust one of the mounts on top of the back box and the box has been de-laminating for ages. I've been trawling ebay for ages looking for a solution, like most people i want it to sound better and so far the options are:
-A motorbike can mounted to exit in the existing place.
-Cherry bomb mounted as above or cut the bumper to accomodate straight out the back

Hows everyone mounted theres though? Have you used those stainless straps or welded on some mounts?
In another thread i said an mg midget stainless may fit but they're too dear to fork out for and possibly have to butcher.
