And I fix it as if It was my first car ( The ford escort mark 1 in the 80's....( Yep I bought a classic then ).the old rotten Chevette that's me.

Id love a mk1 Escort!, When i drive past a ford dealers now I just want to throw up! Working in the garage equipment game I hear all the comments from mechanics from all different brands, they are never positive about anything.

Look Ford has always been shit compared to other manufactures ( like the Japs or so like.... )
in the jap cars we had sensible gauges and controls and comfort.
The fords had fukking bog standard sh1t that shook our teeth out ........but was easy as fook to fettle.
This was an era mate. Just like the first jimnys we talk about now.
