Machine Mart always seem to have good quality tools and offers on. I made the mistake years ago buying cheap, waste of money!, im a mechanical/electrical engineer in the garage equipment industry and my now i only buy the best, halfords have a good lifetime garantee on professional range, also TENG tools have great lifetime garantee. Now my tools make me money! :)

You never have enough tools even after 30 years of tinkering with motorbikes, decrepid cars, lawn mowers and lots of kit cars.
Good tip if you are buying tools and bits at Halfords is to blag yourself a trade card which gets discount on tools, batteries, oil Haynes manuals plugs, brake parts etc but not big stereos, bling and wanke r lights.

Favourite tools are the multimeter, sealey power probe and some good quality ratchet spanners.Als a couple of decent inspection lamps- get 2 incase one packs up in the middle of something important :)

if you watch ebay you can also get a genuine hi lift jack for about £30 -
don't buy a copy, it isn't worth it, just be patient and you can get a genuine one for the same price.
I got a brand new one for £32

Halfords have gone downhill in many respects in recent times but their tools and jacks are great.

I have the jack mentioned and their 200 piece toolkit now replaced by the 150 piece kit and along with some mole grips and pliers and screwdrivers they are awesome!

I've had 2 Clarke jacks from Machine Mart leak on me and a friend has had a Clarke hydraulic press ram leak so I'd steer clear of them.
