halfords professional range is great, its the 150 piece tool kit I have and is invaluable. Best £100 I ever spent.
As someone else said get a blow torch for those seized on nuts and a long breaker bar. not something you will use often but great when you need it.

I also have an electric (12v) impact wrench. Again not somethting you use a lot but awesome for stubborn nuts. Got it off ebay for £25 ish I think.

Good trolley jack is also a must.

Thats the kit i got from halfords 100 quid 150 piece... great.

Also, best mole grips ive had and still work great are clarke pro ones (dark grey colour), used loads and stood up to every test.

Also agree with a blow torch, actually got mine from bnq.... been great.
