Hi there, i'm new to this site and to my suzuki jimny having just bought it 2 months ago. I've already noticed my Jimny is small, thirsty and uncomfortable with rubbish road manners, but despite all this I can't explain but along with my son we absolutely love it! So much so infact my son is also looking for one now.
We are really excited about modding out our Jimny albeit on a small scale to begin with. Can anybody give me any ideas on the best tools to equip myself with to get started, Ive bought already myself a decent torque wrench, socket set and pair of ramps and looking for decent trolley jack and pair axle stands.
I fancy waxoyling and servicing the cars first followed by maybe 2 -3'' lift and bigger tyres. Thanks.

Hi there,
I got into mechanics a while back, just buy the tools you need, when you need them...... my workshop/garage is imense now but it all takes time.
Best tip I can give is dont buy cheap crap tools....and get some bars, grinders and blow torches
Edit:---
Heres what 10-15 years of tools looks like......

cheers gaz, being a bit of a rookie i assumed i would have to be looking at over 100 quid and get decent one 2nd hand. Do you think it will cut it at such a cheap price?
