Whatcha. My fan makes lots of blowing noises and the direction knob makes things in the depths go clunk especially between screen and cabin. However there's virtually no difference in air speed on the dashboard vents regardless of blowing noises increasing. I have removed and will be ordering a new cabin filter as this one is nasty but it hasn't made any difference to air flow. Before I send the camera down the vent outlet is there anything in particular that could be a known cause. The control cable seems to be intact and does make things move. 2024 lcv.

Cheers mate. So I'm not getting that volume of air in those positions. I'll feed the camera down and see what is stuck or blocked or whatever. I can hear the recirculation door move and without the ac recirculation does fog the windows quickly compared with external air mode so I would say that is working. Leave it with me and I'll report any findings. Thank you.

I edited more into the vents description as it was not clear what some of the other vents do

Ok so findings. Camera reveals that the passages are clear. The levers are able to move from one extreme position to the other. However the degree of movement between any 2 or 3 adjoining positions is negligible. It's as if either the cable is stiff or the door pivots are. I'm wondering if there's some aerosol lube I could introduce into the intake that could free it off without taking the whole thing apart?
