If you want to use it on the road, fit Osram Nightbreakers in place of the standard bulbs. They should be a bit brighter.
They are whiter, so the filaments are hotter, but to quote the late Joe Turkel in Bladerunner "The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long"

Offroad you can just fit a light bar or an array of driving lamps.

There are various non road legal LED conversions, but I'd advise against fitting them.
Don't fit non-road legal "Rally" type bulbs either, they will actually be dimmer as the hair thin wiring can't provide full voltage at their rated current.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

In my gen3 I currently have ring 200% brighter and they are good and don't seem to be offering any problems. They are however standard wattage and apparently just use some kind of clever gasses instead of normal halogen or so I was told. Running higher wattage is almost certainly going to be a problem with wires and reflector heat management.

Apparently Osram own ring, so the Osram and Ring bulbs are very similar.
Everybody and his dog makes "200%" bulbs.

Here's a review  www.autoexpress.co.uk/exclusive/76760/be...headlight-bulbs-2024

I'm old enough to remember when Ring were the cheapest bulbs you could get, and had the lifespan of a mayfly, now they are a quality brand, like Regatta clothes, which will forever be associated with the cheapest stuff you could buy to me!

Keep an eye on Osram and their LED replacement bulbs. They make an LED replacement that is legal in several countries in Europe, they have been testing in different countries one by one so the list is growing.
