Looking for a maintenance charger well one each for temeraire and leviathan actually, they aren't getting much regular use so want to avoid battery damage and no starts. If not the noco genius 2 then a suitable alternative?

I have not had any experience with the noco trickle charger but plenty with their jump packs and I swear by them, very good and compact.
I got a battery charger but a very cheap one I got off lidl or aldi and it does work..

I am a long-term user of Optimate chargers for my motorbike and car. I have always found them both effective and reliable.

I have a CTEK MXS 5.0, had it a good few years now and it’s been great, although they are a bit more expensive than a Noco, I assume.
CTEK pulse charge whilst monitoring the battery so they can’t over charge and when full go in to trickle charge or even (I think) cycling the battery (recondition), but I have never used it as a trickle charger.
In addition to the usual croc clips they come with a plug and socket and you wire the socket in under the bonnet, then it’s easy to plug and unplug the charger without fear of shorting, even with the bonnet down.
I have the socket wired in to my other car as it needs regular charging.

I also have an Optimate, from my Maxi-Scooter days, very good. It does trickle/maintenance charge and battery conditioning. Designed to be plugged in and forgot about basically. It also has a connector you can permenantly connect so it's a case of plug it in rather than clip it on.

I've got the basic CTEKS for BigJimny, my SZ5 and the SJ. Just plug them in and leave. As you know my SJ, SZ5 and even BigJimny sit all winter and I haven't had any battery issues.
