The SJ has never had a good looking snorkel designed for it or at least I haven't seen one ever. The cars size proportions just doesn't really work for snorkels. During our peak SJ off-road days it was usually homemade designs using drain pipe and tbh that kind of summed up what people would spend on their cars during that time. No one was buying fancy cup holders, roof racks, roof tents smoked LED lights etc. It was all cheap as chips mods like that spring over axle set up giving you a lift without actually buying a lift kit.

I watched some of the others.
If you jump over the talking bit at the start where they pretend to decide what to buy, and start when they arrive at the sellers house, they aren't too bad.
They alternate between highly competent mechanics and "what are they doing/buying that for?" which is annoying.
The hairless one spends hours getting the balljoints off the lower control arms on a Maestro when it would have been easier/quicker/better to drill out and rethread the bolts he was afraid of, but really he could have just replaced the cracked dust covers in 10 minutes.
I don't get why they photograph and advertise the cars looking like scrappers for stupid money, then at the last minute add the photos that they should have used in the first place. (But it is part of the pretence that they must punt them out within 5 days of purchase I suppose)
I thought the Reliant kitten & the Morris Minor were reasonable to watch.
If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Just watched it, can't say it inspired me to set a series link for the rest of the show!

Agree an all above. Mainly. But glad we still have some programs worth watching and not just stupid reality with so called celebrities you never heard of that very seldom are even the slightest bit interesting persons.
But more interesting stuff on youtube maybe, I have watched yorkshire car restoration on some stuff before but now looking at the Talbot Mantra Subaru and cant help noticing the LJ80V in the background.
Hoping that will come on the screen later.
added picture now.
For those not in the know, this is a 1980-ish Suzuki that is imported to europe in very low numbers.
800cc F8a engine if export spec and 560 or 660 or something if it is a kei.
