Polyurethane bushes good or bad was created by Lambert
Whatcha.
This is for temeraire so the expected use case is high sustained lateral loading and minimal flex but also occasionally very high shock load from imperfections. Aka circuit and fast road on what passes for paved roads in the UK.
Pros as I currently see them;
Increase in geometry stability,
Increase in predictability,
Increase in feedback,
Decrease in tendency to follow linear road imperfections.
Cons as I currently see them;
Increase stress and wear on mounting points,
Increase in general nvh transmission,
Increase in lateral stiffness leading to tending to loose grip,
Cost to benefit ratio,
Wear rate/life expectancy,
Im looking for real world experience though I accept that most of you don't have the same usage case as I do. Mostly I am concerned about ovaling bolt holes and fatigue stress especially for the panhard mounting points. Also i understand that there is quite a fire line between a grip setup and a drift one and I am keen to keep firmly in the grip phase. I found that with dreadnought towards the limit of my experiments she started to be very dependent on the available grip of the tyres to the point of being a little bit unpredictable in the wet though I think that was more to do with ride height and damper compression than compliance in the joints.

My cons from experience on an SJ:
Bad fitment from third party producer.
Very short wear life from sand and large movement.
For me they were so short lived they just add play.
Design seem to not be able to contain or hold lubrication, they are allways dry.
Stupid colours.

Yes.
It’s one of those topics that I doubt you’ll find any consensus on.
I would add. Not all poly bushes are created equally. There are many different grades, but no idea what is offered in the Jimny world. In past times you also got different grade rubber like Shore 70. But I suspect way less common these days.
As a rule poly bushes are a lot easier to fit at home than rubber ones though.
I know the person above says they didn’t get in well with them on an SJ. Although I’d guess there can’t have been many bushes on and SJ. Aren’t they leaf sprung? Which is going to put very different stresses and uses on a bush compared to a radius arm or multi link suspension setup.

I have original polybush orange ones
No complaints from me
I changed front panhard bushes after 6 years
They showed very little wear and deformation
No ovaling of mounts
By far not the cheapest and would I fit again absolutely yes.
As for handling it would be hard to say from my perspective.
Never had front anti rollbar
Always had mud tyres
Always been lifted
Yes drove it like I'd stolen it a fair few times and seemed predictable

It's only because the set of blue superpro? ones are like 400 quid plus and other not branded are like 350 plus that I am not just experimenting with them, it's a fairly meaningful investment.
Interesting though not unexpected that not all bushes are made equal but then what is these days?
Worrying that they potentially have a short life expectancy though that said they will really only see road grime.

I've had them in for over 8 years
Although they only really see extreme conditions not that many road miles
Not had any dealings with the superpro
I went with polybush for ease of fitting
And they've been making them for many years
