As title really. Does anyone else have occasionally high ish rev off the throttle especially in second? Sometimes it will hold like 2k on a very minor slope that it won't even roll down instead of having the rpm just drop away to idle? It doesn't do it in hdc but you wouldn't engage that on the almost flat anyway?

Sometimes the idle speed will go a bit weird if you are applying the brakes a few times in quick succession. The change in volume in the brake booster is unmetered so can muck up the air fuel ratio enough to change idle speed. If it drops far enough I think the ECU ups the idle speed briefly to not stall out.
I've noticed it does the same thing if you nearly stall the engine, and just manage to put the clutch in before it stalls, it "catches" itself then revs up the idle and slowly drops back to normal.
Ok so it's not just mine doing it. I'll pay more attention to what else is going on when it does it and try to find a pattern that I can then avoid doing. Thank you.
