My mistake, I thought a Gen 4 was 1560cc, they are actually 1462cc.
If the tax class is PLG, that would make it £220 a year.
If the tax class is Light Goods (post 2001) there is only one rate of £345.

That document that DrRobin linked says it would be PLG, but it is dot Gov we are dealing with and the right hand never knows what the left is doing............

My guess would be that they would have set the vehicle class to be the same as the last Jimnys which were imported, that was the LCV, hence the flat rate for small vans.
However, yours is not a van, it’s a car and didn’t have a CO2 figure so probably should have been PLG which is £220 per year, assuming it was less than £40k.
You might try challenging it, but key will be what vehicle class is on the type certificate or import documents.

Thanks for the replies, it made me double check the documents I submitted and the guy at DVLA definitely made a mistake and quoted me a price for 1560cc instead of 1460cc.
I sent them more than I should've! Absolute joke.

Is the tax class Private/Light Goods or Light Goods? they are not the same even though they sound it, that P in PLG makes £100 difference.
If it is PLG and they are charging £360 check the engine size on the documents you submitted
