Anti roll bar compatibility? was created by Lambert
Before I go an lay on the floor in the rain and take one off to check against the other do we know if the 2 generations of coil suspension anti roll bar are compatible in terms of width and general shape?
Asking because it appears that h&r do a bar for the 4 which has multiple options for mounting the drop links therefore allowing adjustment of the lever effect on the bar, longer lever more articulation shorter lever more corner control. The alternative being the 28mm off the diesel.
As for why? Because race car.

If you are talking about the difference between Gen 3 and Gen 4, you are out of luck. They are completely different. The Gen 4's is thicker, but the "arms" are shorter, so unfortunately not interchangeable between the two models.

What are we talking here 25mm,100mm difference in length? A bit of angle on the drops is survivable as long as they can't go over centre. All that being said though a second hand diesel one is certainly going to be cheaper and 28mm is thicker than 25mm.

You are probably going to be a lot better off going for one off a diesel.
A friend had a gen 3 bar with quick disconnect, but we couldn't get it to work on the Gen 4 at all.
