Thanks yeah I can't find any maxxis in the size I need.
I think I may go general grabber
Is this your daily driver?

If not, then yes, I'd maybe look at an MT pattern. Although I do honestly think a good AT should be fine for laning. My Jimny is my daily and I have other vehicles for more extreme off road use, hence running ATs.

Just looking about and there seems to be a lack of ATs currently in 215/75. But if you are looking for an MT, I reckon these could be pretty good:

You might not find Maxxis listed in many of the online tyre sellers, I had to ask my local tyre fitters if they could get them, which they could.

300bhpton is right though, 215/75r15 in AT do seem a little thin on the ground.

Blackcircles and tyresdirect do however, list BF Goodrich, but at £184 per tyre it might be a bit on the expensive side.

Mytyres list Maxxis as in-stock, but you will need to arrange fitting at your local garage.

Fitting is often £10-£20 per tyre.

You can get the Bridgestone Dueler AT002 in that size.  It's an aggressive A/T tyre and looks good.  Doesn't tend to accumulate dirt on the sidewalls like the ubuquitous Yokohama Geolandar does.

I am having problems finding tyres in 15" in general.
I have been looking at 235/75/15 or bigger but there is nothing between 235 and 31". and at 31" there is not much to choose from.
Hoping it is just the webshops, and that my local dealer can supply more alternatives.
Not many maxxis tyres here.
BFG KO3 not in 15"
Cooper ST maxx not in 15"
and a few more brands too, not available in 15"
And those that acc to the product web sites (as someone said in here, they are all awful)
actually is produced in 15", they are not available to buy at webshops.

I am mostly left with the cooper discoverer sport3 wich is fine by me as it is a good tyre.

Actually thinking of selling my 15" wheels and buying 16's.

Might not be available in your country, but 30.9.50R15 is a size between these two. Generally quite a bit of choice. 29.5" vs 28.9" tall for the 235/75's

I think I may go general grabber

I put General Grabber A/Tx in a 215/75R15 on my wife's JB74 back in 2021, replacing the OE Dunlop GrandTrek AT20s, she's been very happy with them, and my one concern was the mud & dirt that they threw up on the sides of the car, which was dealt with by installing mud flaps.  I've just ordered  a set of the A/Tx to go on the JC74 that I bought last July,  replacing the OE Bridgestone Duellers, the mud flaps are already here but not yet installed.

Incidentally, the A/Tx is the OE tire on the Ford Ranger Raptors that we get here (2.0 BiTurbo Diesel), they stand up well to the gravel & laterite roads that we've used them on.
