Be polite, don't hide behind acronyms especially when they can be interpreted as rude, aggressive or sweary. BE NICE!

Apologies, however I thought/felt that was a polite reply, was meant more in jest…. Maybe it needed an emoji??
About 40 sec of effort on Google:
You can download the manual as a pdf, so should help the op with the specifics of the 4wd system as well as other aspects of the car.

I have a welded front diff in my Jimny and I can promise you it drives a lot differently on tarmac to a standard Jimny in 4wd!
A Jimny is the same as any other part time 4wd. There's no centre diff so use 4wd on loose surfaces only.

But there is also an expectation that an adult takes some measure of responsibility. There is a certain measure of due diligence one should cover before plonking down tens of thousands of pounds. One can certainly opt not to do one's homework before buying -- or in this case, even afterwards -- but then one should probably anticipate a little hooting from the gallery.
All of which is beside the point of this thread, which I think has been pretty thoroughly covered by the helpful people on the forum. Good job all. @300bhpton, you are forbidden to use the "F" key for a bit.
