Hello guys, after a long time of having the jimny and modify It the car is to heavy and needs more power ... so I thought is the perfect time to convert to a 1.5 or 1.6 engine but i am lost .. my car is 02 plate and it has a non vvt m13a engine now .. I am aware that i have to use a non vvt engine and only lianas have this type of engine but i live in cyprus and i dont have Access to one of this. I spoke to some people and i found 1.5 VVt and 1.6 vvt eninges from swift in very good condition and after speaking to some people some say they will not work .. Some other people told me if i use this engine without connecting the vvt the car wil work fine and will get all the power like a 1.5 non vvt ? Also is it worth the swap ?
M13,15and16 heads have same valves and port sizes
so you can use m15 m16 vvt engine block and fit your m13 head and engine front cover
Then you will have non vvt 1.6 engine
Be aware swift sport changed cam trigger wheel around 2010 so makes job more complicated

I don't know if will be a silly question but if i use the 1.3 front cover and head you said that i will have basically a 1.6 non vvt engine if i use the 1.6 block .. will i get the same power as a 1.6 non vvt though or less ? Also is it worth it ?
