I'm only 5' 6", so am a shorter person. If I lean forward so my chest is nearly touching the steering wheel, I still can't see the Snorkel body, it does sit very snug to the A-post.

To be fair, he does get out of it without wading or ruining the engine!

I just love the way one bloke walks it out with a bit of string, just shows you how much it was floating.
Mind the idiot at the end taking that BMW through deserves everything he got.

EPBs always seem to lock on in floods. Horrible things.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

I drove though deep water once in the Series III at a quarry playday (just muddy water, not raw sewage luckily).
I was quite pleased that it chugged merrily through, although I had to wait for it to sink enough to gain traction to come out.
I was less pleased a week later when I had to strip & clean the starter motor, change the bearings & free the brushes in the alternator, strip & lubricate the heater fan, replace the windscreen washer pump.....
And that was after taking off the headlights to wash the muddy water out and hosing out the floor.
Never again, the depth of the tyre is quite sufficient.,
