Lower gear shifter bush was created by Danparry
Hey
I noticed on my garage floor the white nylon lower gear shifter bush that goes on the bottom of the shifter under the car,
I put it back on but seems to kinda come loose easily,
I looked up a replacement part but it's black?? Not white nylon?
Is it the same or am i missing a piece somewhere?
The white one in the picture is of the same one I have
The black one in pic is a replacement but different?

The Vitara and the Jimny shifters are very different designs - there's no way the Vitara bush can fall out of the Vitara onto the floor, and the reason it's falling out of the Jimny just might be because it's not the right part.

While you are under there, the shaft seals for the manouver shafts also are accessible for a change possibly. They are cheap from Suzuki.
I got those but will do the bushings too when I change them. I suspect that worn out bushing may cause the gear leaver to be a bit floppy too. jumps out of first gear if i touch the gear leaver when I take off
