Anyone else contact Twisted?

While I’m not 100% liking all of what Twisted do. I was interested in the Turbo and rear anti-roll bar.

So I contacted them a number of days back via their website. But zilch, nothing. Not even an acknowledgment.

I’d have thought a company like Twisted would have been red hot on replying to enquiries. But clearly not.

Anyone else also enquired with them?

I believe the rear AB is a after market item from Asia and Japan,

I was interested in how it mounts, but when that Jonny Smith (he must be an acquired taste, I find him monotonously boring, like Dan Snow, who can take the single most interesting event of the last century and make it boring) reviewed the twisted Jimny he declared there was a rear ARB whilst pointing at the panhard rod, and I couldn't see any sign of an ARB.

(13' 38" if the link doesn't work, don't try and watch it all unless you are a Jonny fan :) )

The only rear ARB I can find is from Taiwan

My first car was a Morris Oxford Farina Estate (the old A60) That didn't have a rear ARB, so I fitted one from a saloon. It just linked the two shock absorber lever arms together. I never really understood how it worked, because it was in free space, not bushed to the chassis, so it was linking two arms that were already linked by the solid axle. (I never noticed any reduction in roll either....)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

They may well be snowed under and can't get enough base LCVs to meet demand.  It's had a lot of coverage.

Well that isn't really an excuse for not replying to an enquiry. As it happens I already have a Jimny and would not want an LCV anyhow. I was just after a price on the turbo conversion.

Would be great if someone talked this company into making a front & rear quick-disconnect ARB for Jimny's...

The twisted Jimny  rear ARB is confirmed - carwow reviewed it.

I've no idea what he thought of it, I lost the will to live after about 3 minutes.
