40mm lift kit for Jimny LCV was created by Wailin
Looking to lift my incoming Jimny LCV and was wondering what lift kit would be the best fit. Just going 40mm, no more than that. Basically it's mainly for visual purposes but I will also be using a roof top tent on it so it will need to be a stiffer set up than stock. I've heard the stock springs and shocks are far too soft anyway, even for normal day to day use. Is this the case?

We are about to test the Pedders lift on our new lcv, if we like it I will be stocking it as well as separate shocks etc.
We have the trailmaster set up on our other gen4 and it's very good but it's now basically impossible to trade with them

A roof top tent is not a good idea. It weighs too much.

I'd suggest driving it for a while on standard suspension before you decide the ride is too soft...

Plenty of jimny owners out there with roof top tents and no issues.

As a daily driver of an LCV Jimny I can't say that statement aligns with my experience - think @Busta's tip is worth your consideration?
