I have no idea what that button actually is good for, other than confuse the owner.
Come to think of it, it can better be reused for something useful, I'll think of something some day..

haha this one should be on auto when this comes upJust before you take it apart you have checked the window lock button at the front of the driver side switch panel.

I would just flip out the switch panel from the door, on the original panel the clips are at the ends. measure to see if there is a 12V there allready and go from there. use the wiring diagram to see what wires goes to the window motor.
Not so easy if it has been fiddled with before and is not original though.
Would strongly recommend trying to get it back to the original state as it is way more predictable then. switch panels are not expensive and can be found used.
Found it on ebay easy (Jimny door switch) but cannot recommend ordering this from China. But that is the low budget alternative.
Do check the button on the end there as Lambert says
