hi all, new Jimny owner here, picked up a LCV in blue with black roof
will post pics once i have worked out how.
so far have replaced side marker, high level brake light and front indicators with smoked leds, fitted mud flaps, and removed bulkhead.
i have a question regarding led bulb replacements for the rear lights ( don't fancy the Jimny style ones) any recommendations?
cheers, Baldy

Hi,
Welcome to the forum and happy motoring with your new Jimny.
LED bulbs can be a bit of a problem, if you are in the UK, you can only fit LED bulbs to the exterior of the car if the fitting is designed for LED. So if it has ordinary filament bulbs installed at the moment chances are it is not suitable for LED and you can't legally fit LED bulbs. You can however, change the light fitting to one designed for LED, provided it is E marked.
A lot of people fit LEDs in to ordinary housings but it might get picked up on a MOT or if you get a random light check.

Hello and welcome. I didn't think there was an issue with fitting LEDs in the rear housings as beam pattern doesn't come into them? Indicators might need a resistor in them to make them flash properly.
