I have been looking for one too, and often see them on ebay as you have noted, but how do you fit this to the vehicle?

If you want to glue it on as directed in the article, or even seal the screw holes I can recommend this stuff:
Everbuild Puraflex 40
You can get it from Amazon / eBay / Toolstation etc, it's a poor man's Tiger seal (it's the same stuff). Its great at sticking plastic to metal, the only down side is it can get a little messy if you apply too much.

Edit - once opened keep it in the freezer, keeps for many years like this. Many sealants including silicone etc will keep frozen. Its a tip that really works and is always interesting the first time the better half finds your freezer stash

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)
Last edit: 16 Apr 2023 22:48 by Scimike. Reason: Sealant storage tip (may cause divorce)
