Plenty of fabric sprays about, never used any, but it not going to get any heavy wear up there.

Just to be clear I meant to say mine is grey, yours could be biege but that would indicate a change sometime after 2012 ish.I would struggle with calling it a grey but my colour perception with really light tones is not the best.
As for changing the colour I would probably take it out and use multiple weak coats of a diluted fabric dye over a week or so. That's without knowing of a proprietary method which there probably is.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

Easy enough to change fabric colour, but I would spray it if possible to get a more even coverage. Spraying avoids the tie dye pattern effect, unless that's what you want.
I changed a blue leather steering wheel to black using shoe dye, worked perfectly and I sold the car with it still on.

Now I've said it I sort of like the idea of a tie dyed spiral effect headlining, go for it, possibly on a spare headliner
