The white L shaped fitting ? Looks like a PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve - they are engine specific so if you're replacing it, make sure you get the correct one.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

The white thing is the PCV as said ^^^^^.
They are not the tightest of fit into the cam cover, it's likely it's the cam cover seal that shrunk with heat, hence a little loose. So look at replacing the seal, assuming it's not part of the PCV, if you feel this needs to be done.
