I like the idea of the footrest, but given the shortage of space and mostly the price, I don't think it's a mod I will be doing anytime soon. I can bend my knee and put my foot flat on the carpet in front of the pedal on a long journey.

Mike's comments about the accelerator pedal were funny (and true), two position throttle we used to call it, very common on small cars especially by certain age groups and gender.

Installed the Apio Floor mats today.

While “not compatible” with the Apio footrest I’m not encountering any issues using them in combination.

Are they worth the £££?

Debatable. Way too much money [£165] but a big improvement on the Suzuki rubber mats - OK but have curled over time, use and aren’t deep enough to cope with lots of crud.

I bought Taniguchi floor mats, which are very similar to the APIO ones directly from Compass Auto in Japan and saved £60 inc shipping costs, versus what I would have paid for the APIO ones in UK. The GBP/JPY exchange rate is very good at the moment.
Still expensive of course, but I’m very pleased with them.

All my items came from Compass, they are really good. Can't praise them enough.
