JB74 cabin plastic cover was created by juangavaldes
So I took my JB74 to the car wash when I got it back I saw a plastic cover on top of the sit I thought how hard can it be to fit it back into place... the problem I'm facing is that I have no idea where the cover goes... I asked an other Jimny owner to check an to my surprise she had the same thing happen to her and couldn't figure out where it goes. I hope someone here knows where it fits or can check their JB74 to see where the part goes in the cabin I'll attach a couple of pictures. In case anyone is interested the part number is 85223-77ra and it has a big R on it.

Thanks

It goes under the passenger seat. I wasn't able to get it to fit back where it came from, and gave up. It doesn't appear to serve any real purpose, I often have stuff under the seats, and rear passengers, and never experienced any need for it to be there. i.e. ditch it.

It's there to help protect the wires that supply power for the heated seats and the seat belt warning circuit. Rear seat passengers could inadvertently kick the connecting plugs, hence the cover.

Good job that the cover is nice and secure then, if it's got to survive a kicking.
