Here it is the first solar assisted Jimny, that should keep Greta happy.





The panel provides 550mA peak and I managed 250mA with a low sun angle, so that should help the battery during lockdown. It’s in the side window as that faces south when parked and will see if it will stay in place when using the car. I put the cable through the grommet behind the battery, quite easy to do. The panel has a SAE connector, so I can always remove it when not in us or fit a mains charger in the cab to top up the battery.
