Hi, Fellow Jimny Owner
I have purchased a Raptor 4x4 steering damper, for my 2006 Jimny, the problem I have and hope someone can help is there are no fitting instructions, the size of the brackets seem to big and the U clamps threads are not long enough to clamp down. Now is it me or has anybody also had similar problems. Messaged the supplier, who in fairness replied within a few hours, telling me that the factory didn’t send instructions and that many other vehicles had been fitted with the damper.

That's what I was thinking, but I can't say I have seen all that fit the G3.
Looks nicely made, is it possible it's intended for the G4?
Not sure.

It does look a bit strange, is it fixed to the Anti Roll Bar ?

Just looking at that it would appear to be fitted to a left hand drive vehicle so in order to fit a right hand drive the whole assembly will need to be rotated end to end so that the body of the damper is attached to the chassis away from the pitman arm to maintain clearance if that makes sense?

Just had one fitted to my 2013 but a garage did it so don't know how - all I do know is it is/was a very straightforward fit and I live almost next door to raptor and they use them all the time.
