A new fault appeared was created by poacher
Hi Folks,
after a good few months of trouble free driving, my Jimny has developed a new fault.

When driving down the road I suddenly get a grating sound, almost as if gears are being taken off, does it when out of gear & still in motion. Stops when I get brake down to approx 5mph & then I can drive off with no problems.

When it's happened once I can drive all day, until I stop (i.e. parked up, engine off) then it will happen again once I set off again.

Any ideas?

T-box trying to engage?
Hubs trying to engage?

Many thanks

Dave.

P.s. reason I've not been under it - too cold, even my boots are sticking to the floor its that cold:ohmy:
