Yes, there is a reset facility invoked by a door opening and closing sequence, but that currently just redetects the sensors You would have thought they could have made that "set" the warning level to 1 PSI below current tyre reading. That way you could have set the tyres to the pressure you want and coded the alert accordingly.Lambert wrote: Perhaps if they had coded the tpms to look for a difference in readings taken over 24 hours it would be a more effective system ie check every second compared with the figure from the same time 24 hours previous that way it's a relative measure and can warn of an issue but also allow for alternative terrain and tyre type pressure.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

Never considered the fact that these devices have a battery fitted that will need replacing at some point. Assume this is true of them all?

I thought they were powered by some kind of induction created by centrifugal force, hence they only give a reading after driving a few yards.
