HI everyone
2011 Jimmy.
When I only open my rear door remotely - It auto locks in about two minutes, even if the door is wide open.
It only happens on the rear door, but auto locks all other doors.
If you remotely unlock and open any of the front doors, everything's OK - even the rear door stays unlocked.
So basically the rear door only auto locks when opened by itself.
Mystery .
Regards.
Gordon.

Does the interior light come on when you open the back door? It should like all the other doors...
If it doesnt then the fault is the switch on the back door (at the bottom where it gets all the weather).
The only way the central locking knows you have opened a door is if the door switch is activated (switched negative to the car body - only one wire for that and the interior light).

Hi Ricky
Thank you so much - Fixed problem with a little switch cleaner - If it happens again new switch required.
Kind regards.
