I know that I said back half trailers are cool, but that's just weird. Maybe if it were a hard top it could look better and be more useful.

The strange thing is that that is probably the worst part of a soft top Jimny, usually completely rusted out due to the softop leaking. Surprised there is anything left to weld to.

My SJ thread, now with some pictures of my trailer build.
And Martin you're quite right about the soft top rust. My starting object was a lost cause as the previous owner had started to weld the rust in the floor, and got half done when he gave up. As he started from the back, this was a good start for my trailer.
