Hi guys,

Are they instructions for the Jimny though? As in... what panels to take off etc?

Sorry for the questions (like constantly) I am a lowly support worker, not a mechanic. #MonkeyMachanic :woohoo:

Andy, my advice, for what it's worth.

The cost of having it fitted is considerably less than putting right buggered up, wiring, head linings, etc.;)

Fitted the wind/rain deflectors and front & rear mudflaps myself.

Instructions are provided but aren’t the clearest, especially for the front mud flaps. A template is provided for them though that you tape on that gives you the location of where to drill the pilot holes. The rear flaps are a doddle and the deflectors are even easier.

Wish I took photos of the process as I could have uploaded them here. If you struggle with any of the above give me a shout.

Ash

I fitted the towbar and wiring kit myself and the instructions provided are just a series of illustrations (probably to avoid translation issues). When the paperwork indicates that you should remove the rear bumper it simply tells you to refer to the workshop manual. I can't see me getting a manual anytime soon. With regards to interior trim removal, this thing is screwed together much like any other modern Japanese car and you quickly get a feel for how to remove parts.

The Camera instructions, told what panels to remove, where to route and clip the wires to (cable ties provided with the kit), I found them very good and easy to follow.
