I was hoping this page could become a resource for folks who want to fit a reversing camera, or any other bits n bobs onto the gen 4 jimny.

Ive seen a few posts on them, but nowt too in-depth for a monkey mechanic such as myself.

I'll add my own when i pick her up next week, starting off with the wind deflectors. (fingers crossed).

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Not being negative but if it's a dealer accessory and you fit it yourself, how is the warranty affected? Just with it still being a new car and under manufacturers warranty.

Ahaaa, good point.

Funny though, because quite a few people have now fitted stuff themselves, I wonder if they have considered this too?

Thats got my attention Lambert, thanks for the pointer. Sheesh, looks like i'll have to ring and ask them.

If it saves you from having a warranty rejected it's worth a phone call.

Was only £75 for the dealer to fit mine, well worth getting it done before you collect. That said, I believe the kit does come with install instructions.
