Yes it is a road pattern but I'm on my second set now and they are essentially unstoppable in anything less than axle deep mud. Wet grass, win. Rock tracks, win. Slick clay, win. Typical British winter roads, win. Wet tarmac, win. Dry tarmac, win win win. In other words for use on a daily driver they own anything you're likely to come across. Ok they have limitations and they don't have the chunky aesthetic but they perform.
Im on my lunch break, dreaming about my Jimny, watching too many videos and pondering life.
On that note.....
What makes Ermintrude moo? What makes Zebedee boo and why does Florence say hello. Basically what makes each car say different stuff and why?
Too much time on my hands

Thanks Lambert. Really good observation about the BFG Urban Terrains. What size are these again, and do you think the Urban Terrains inherit any of BFG's reputation for sidewall strength, or are they pretty much the same as other highway terrains?

Thanks Sniper - that is very helpful in differentiating the tyres.

Standard gen3 205 70 15. They have a much more pliant sidewall than the other bfg offerings that allow for a more refined and relaxed ride.
Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.

I cannot find the Urban Terrains in 195/80 R15 (maybe unsurprising) or 215/75 R15 either.
Pity
