Oh fully aware of this. I got an RTT on my Gen3 most of the year. One does feel it, but on the other hand, the way I use the car, it's been pretty great. It's the actual size of the setup that has made it great for me. I get to where I want, follow rough enough trails and tracks. And beaches etc.

Sadly a Jimny probably isn't a good option. The max roof load specified by a manufacturer isn't the maximum physical weight the car can support before being squished, it's the amount of weight it can transport high up without ruining how the car handles, which is why I doubt the max roof load has changed from Gen3 to Gen4.
Stick 100kg on the roof of a small, narrow car like the Jimny and it might be fine when stationary, but moving the centre of gravity upwards significantly will probably make it hazardous to drive and increase the chance of rollover.
You can probably get away with it, right up to the point that there's an accident and your insurance refuses to pay out.
That's why I'm not investing in a roof rack, but going to get a cheap (and light!) set of roofbars instead.

I think with their lack of activity on here since 4/2/19, that they have given up or decide to shelve the projects until more Gen 4 Jimny's are sold. It doesn't look good for us?

I have had no replies to my last two emails where I enquired about availability, etc.
