Just got The Call.

There is a blue one coming in March that I can have, I've said provisionally yes, as long as I can see it in the flesh before I'm definite.

The blue looks a bit pale to me......

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

It was blue that I sat in and if it is the same blue I can say it is a lovely colour.

If it's the same tecno blue as my other gen3 then it's a really pretty colour.

Yes, some fancy name or other blue, but it is with a black roof.

It's got to be right, as I will have to live with it (hopefully) for 20 years or more.
I would really like black- it always looks smart when it has just been washed (so that might only be once on the day I collect if it isn't raining), I also reckon black will sell easier if I need to, but I did order silver, on the grounds that the RAV4 was silver grey and I never felt the need to wash it in the 3 years I had it.

Adjectives like "pretty" and "lovely" are a bit off putting

I prefer "purposeful", "smart", "sinister", "mean".....

Black is not that good especially if you actually use the car as intended. It shows every single little imperfection and look mucky 5 miles after a wash. Blue is better.

Called my dealer today they still don’t know when my car will be delivered but said it will be by the end of March 19. They have no idea if it has been built, whether it is on a boat or in the UK, so not sure how they can be sure it will be the end of March 19.

They are also a Fiat dealer and they can track every car they have ordered but not Suzuki, they get nothing from them.

That is a bit surprising in this day and age. usually the build process of a car is quite closely tracked and and status is available to either you through some log in on a website, or the dealer. Ah well, fingers crossed it's soon.

Customer service these days is terrible. I rang my local dealer last week to give him a heads up on me wanting to part -ex my 2014 VW polo, which he told me to do if i changed my mind about doing so. I also wanted to snoop for updates on the list. I.e: Just to check i was defo number 6 on said list.

I usually deal with a chap called Nick, well he's the one who took my deposit etc. Rang last week, he was busy, so I left a message with his colleague for a call back....Result = No call received.

Ok mistakes happen, no worries i thought.......

On my way back home from a job, I called in the dealer. Seen Nick as i walked in, and he told me he was busy, and because my order was down the line, he had to prioritise other customers. Fair enough! He told me he'd ring me the next day to discuss things.......Result = Nothing, no call.

2 Days later i rang again, Sorry the chap said, nick is busy, can i leave a message. (Gave number again). Agent promised me a call back........Result = Nothing.

Rang today, and got through to him at last. Fair enough he said, apologised for not calling, and said we'll discuss part ex nearer the time, which was understandable and fine (Ive never part ex-d a car before). Before i finished the part ex convo, I had the chance to ask him about any updates on the list, or changes etc. He told me he'd call me back later today with all the details.........Result ....again = Nothing.

Dozy buggers!! Doesnt give me much confidence TBH.
