helps on rocky ground. Also the lugs on the side wall are bigger and lower down
helping in ruts.

Had them on both my Shogun and my Lada Niva, both were unstoppable!

It currently has Kumho kl71's on it that do grip fairly well, but they do get blocked up with mud when it is very wet like this morning! I plan to change them to Insa Turbo special tracks, do you think these would be much better or do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks
Just to answer the question in your topic.
The best tyres for mud are Boggers, Simex/Silverstone copies, Ziarelli Brutale or Maxxis Trepador Comp Bias.
Ziarelli also makes a copy of the Treps called Mountain Devils.Perhaps something to consider?
But for mud only.. Just forget about even considering M/T tyres.

Rowland wrote: Thanks for your reply. I have had a good look around the web and can't see where to buy the Boggers or the Ziarelli tyres in the uk. I found an article saying tyres direct sell Ziarelli but they aren't on their website? Are the Silverstones better in mud than the insa turbo special tracks and Kaimans?
Boggers I'm not sure. But perhaps try asking over on devon4x4 forum. But beware a set of 4 31" is around £1000

Ziarelli tyres are probably cheapest just buying directly from Ziarelli. or perhaps here offroadshop.sk/sk/search?controller=sear...utale&submit_search=
The Simex / Silverstone pattern is probably around the same no matter if you buy genuine tyres or remoulds. But the genuine ones probably last longer and are made of much better rubber compound. And are also lighter so a good deal easier to spin
