Suppliers/Dealers or anyone selling with a commercial view in mind CANNOT post here unless responding to a specific request of a member in a "wanted" post.
Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum particularly if contacted by a Private Message
Suppliers or Members who have contributed to the forum can be identifed by the logo.

I knew the brakes and pipes were ok as I had changed the discs and pads last week, and had checked the pipes. I remembered reading on this forum about the front hub pipes being mistaken for brake pipes, so I challenged the tester and explained how the hubs work. He put the Jimny back on the ramp and I showed him the pipes. He was shocked and apologised, and said he had never seen this before!!!! WOOHOO he handed me a Pass certificate.
It just goes to show that lots of garages don't know or understand the Jimny! So it pays to question people on their understanding of the Jimny. It worked for me. Thanks to the forum and you guys. Baz

It's not hard to see they are nothing to do with the brakes from the route they take and what they are connected to.

Asked them how that had happened on copper brake lines, they went all sheepish and waived the bill, needless to say I never went back.
