I had a thought when I removed my original roof bars....I've been lucky....a warm day and a slice of toast up there would pull it apart!

Rockwatt was making a decent roof basket that bolts onto where the plastic feet bolt on but I don't know what's happening with them now or if he still does them.

I would just like to replace the two rails with something all metal that I could rely on. Don't really want a full time basket, just something I can put roof bars onto at times. This means I don't have to endure the wind noise and resistance all of the time!
Fine if these are just black, just want something that looks tidy on the roof.
