Hello, what's the MPG like for your Jimny's?
And what age, engine and year is your vehicle?
Just curious as I'd assume this is less than many other 4x4s with the Jimny's compact size

I'm pleasantly surprised to hear that. I've a friend with a 2011 Focus who gets 46 on average so the Jimny (as a 4x4) isn't doing too bad!

Stock 2014 SZ4 with standard tyre pressures. I've been recording brim to brim tankfuls since new and it's averaged about 38mpg. Last tank was 40mpg. There is a steady upward trend as it finishes running in. No really short trips but some town driving and a lot of out of town cruising. The main thing is not to try and keep up on the motorway; the total lack of aerodynamics (and the rock 'n' roll ride) make it much happier at 60 than 70. You can rev it hard to accelerate, though; that shouldn't make any difference as engines, especially 16 valvers, are most efficient at about 2/3 of the red line. Burn and coast, the hypermilers call it. The Jimny isn't that slow if you're willing to take it to 5000 rpm (I don't want to take it further yet until it's done 3000 miles from new).
