Overview
It makes little sense to rate the Jimny by usual test procedures, as measured objectively, it has very little going for it. It performs badly in important assessments of its basic safety, its performance, refinement and comfort, and isn’t even very practical, with a tiny rear seat and little load-space. However, whilst it’s horrid on the motorway and no fun around town, it’s actually quite adept off-road, and can go where few other small cars dare to venture.
