Spare Wheel Security was created by Leathery1
Hi All.

The original spare wheel cover rotted away with age and I have yet to replace it.
Now have 215 / 75 ATs on so an original one wont fit.
Not sure whether to go soft cover again or lockable hard cover. Is it worth the extra cost for added security? Just has a locking wheel nut on at the moment.

Cheers

Thanks deedar, thats an idea, but what if you lose a locking not key, or its peeing down and you need a load of keys?
Also want to put a nice graphic on it. Would it last on a soft cover?

Cheers

Not sure iff it would last on a soft cover pal but if you was wanting to put a nice grapic on you would be better with a solid cover but I would still put a locker on it mate you can never be too sure theres always some low life willing to nick something for a teners worth of smack

Too true deedar.
Any idea how secure the locking hard covers really are?
I would imagine even a padlock would deter most opportunist thieves but maybe not some doped up toerag looking for their next fix.

£100 of brand new rubber on an easily removed spare is a temptation for some as I am sure.
